Pet Loss Grief Support Group – at Pet Pilgrimage (a Division of Cavin-Cook Funeral home), which is behind the Cavin-Cook Funeral home on 494 E Plaza Drive (150) in Mooresville, NC. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Call for more information at 704-664-5484.

Petgriefsupportgroup.com – a local pet support group that meets in the Hope Building of the Seigle Avenue Presbyterian Church in uptown Charlotte. (The Hope Building is at 600 Seigle Avenue, on the corner of 10th street and Seigle Avenue, near uptown Charlotte, and parking is available behind the building on Seigle Avenue). This program is designed for grieving pet owners and is facilitated by Wesley Sturgis, MSW, who is a bereavement counselor at presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care Center. The purpose of this program is to provide a safe, non-judgmental setting in which individuals can share their personal experiences of pet loss and discuss the common signs of grief that people may experience as they cope with the loss of their pet. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
